This Associated Press article appeared in the May 15, 1989 issue of "The St. Petersburg Times" (Florida).  In this article, Clayton Sullivan, a Baptist minister and college professor, discusses a fictional book he wrote.  The book was inspired by a dream his wife had of Jesus coming down from heaven to talk to her and her friends as a woman.  

In this "make-believe" story, Sullivan explores the idea of a female incarnation of Christ dealing with "issues ranging from racism to poverty."

Some have thought about making this book into a movie.  I haven't read the book and I'm not endorsing it.  But I would like to know what others think about the article.
